 | Las Vegas Illusions Reviews | 1 - 10 of 13 | | Consider Las Vegas as a tourist trap! Nothing is real, but oh so fun! This city is a must see! The Eiffel tower on this picture is fake, the inside of the casino looks like a Paris' street scene, complete with little cumulus clouds in the "fake" sky... but they have real "Cronenbough 1664" (a good year for beer) ;-) Leave a Comment

The Pharaoh's Pheast Buffet at the Luxor. This Buffet is by far one of the worst. You are lulled in by a great advertising campaign that features Nefertiti eating grapes...what can I say...great decor awful food. This buffet seems like it has a lot to offer but lo and behold it has the exact same stations on both sides. The apple juice smelled funny and when the coke arrived it was flat. Maybe I'm being too picky...but don't say you haven't been warned. This is more like the Pharaoh's Pharce! Leave a Comment

A big tourist trap! This is NOT the real Eiffel Tower! The real one is in Paris, not in Las Vegas! This is just a small fake version of it at the Paris hotel! Leave a Comment

This should be under warnings and dangers, but it;s a tourist trap as well. The wedding chapels are everywhere, and you can get married on the spot, with no preparation, nothing. Great idea to mix that in with booze and gambling eh? Leave a Comment

Anyone offering you a free chance to win anything, should be avoided at all cost. Folks we built these casinos with your money, not ours. Think about it. If you want to gamble, that is fine. Understand that Vegas will not pay you unless you 'lay your money down and take your chances'. No such thing as free here. You will pay for it one way or another. Leave a Comment

Fremont Street Experience. This is fun for about 5 minutes, then it kind of wears thin. Can be skipped, unless you're going to be downtown anyway.

The Pirate Battle at Treasure Island. Fun the first time you see it, but doesn't hold up to repeated viewings.

ALL OF THE ABOVE no windows, no clocks it's very easy to lose track of time sometimes the only way I was aware of how long we had been somewhere was my tummy rumbling.

Free drinks while you are gambling - try to modify your drinking. I didn't. I won a lot of money that night on roulette, but luckilly nothing happened (pick pockets e.t.c). Always stay alert.
