 | Las Vegas Stratosphere Reviews | 31 - 40 of 76 | | Go see a show! In Las Vegas you never know who you will meet! Here I am with Madonna! Not really, but the 'American Superstars' show at the Stratosphere was awesome! A tribute to American pop stars, with impersonators of Elvis Presley, Madonna, Ricky Martin, Christine Aguilera, Charlie Daniels, and Michael Jackson. Each performer did about three songs, with a full band and dancers backing them up. Fantastic show, and fantastic job by these perfomers! Highly recommended! This resort also boasts a tower that is the fifth largest free standing observation tower in the world! Come join me at the Top of the Stratosphere! Leave a Comment

On top of the Stratosphere, which you pay to go up, there is a great view of the arrid, ugly place that is Las Vegas. I think Vegas would have been cool if I drank a lot, had tons of free money and liked strip clubs, so it pretty much sucked for me. Leave a Comment

It gives you an incredible view across Las Vegas and the desert surrounding it. And even at 1.100 feet above the surface, the air still feels warm. And if you feel especially brave, you can even take a roller coaster ride around the top of the tower! Leave a Comment Other Contact:

Stratosphere Casino Hotel & Tower At 1,149 feet, the Stratosphere Tower is the tallest freestanding observation tower in the United States and the tallest building west of the Mississippi River. From the observation decks, lounge, and restaurant, guests enjoy panoramic views of the Las Vegas Strip and the surrounding valley. With indoor and outdoor observation decks, the spectacular 360 degree views of Las Vegas make for unforgettable photo opportunities. Visitors are whisked from ground level to the observation decks in less than 30 seconds in double decker elevators traveling at speeds of 1,800 feet per minute or three floors a second. Thrill seekers can enjoy excitement over 100 stories above the ground on the Big Shot thrill ride and the High Roller roller coaster. The High Roller roller coaster is the world's highest roller coaster. It is not a high speed ride but stepping into the car that was suspended off the side of the tower at that height was an incredible experience and provided plenty of excitement for me. For those craving the ultimate rush, the Big Shot launches passengers 160 feet in the air in a mere 2.5 seconds to experience 4 G's of force, and then drops them back down to the launching pad at 0 G's. This ride is the ultimate in thrill rides. For the less daring, there is the Strat-O-Fair midway attraction. The Strat-O-Fair features a renovated Ferris Wheel circa 1958, and a child size Little Shot. Leave a Comment Other Contact: The Tower is open from 10 a.m. t

If you like being high and I mean this literally.. then Big Shot is for you! You begin your journey by going up 100 stories w/c if I'm not mistaken is about 1,081 feet above the ground. Then the ride takes you up another 160 feet but this time you're strapped on and it only takes 2 seconds at a force of 4gs. It may be a bit scary when you think about it but once you are up there you forget that because you would be so amazed at how the sights are from that height and not to mention you kind of feel weightless and a bit buzzed. Then you go down and up again sort of bobbing at a speed of 45mph. While you are there you might as well try the 2 other rides namely X-scream and Insanity Hours of Operation Sunday thru Thursday - 10:00 am to 1:00 am Friday, Saturday, Holidays - 10:00 am to 2:00 am Rates: Xtreme All-day Unlimited Package $29.95 Tower Admission and 3 Rides $23.95 Tower Admission and 2 Rides $19.95 Tower Admission and 1 Ride $15.95 Tower Admission and Audio Tour $13.95 Leave a Comment Phone: (800) 998-6937
