 | Madrid Vips restaurants Reviews | Tips 1 - 10 of 16 | | VIPS This chain of shops-restaurants has several places in all Madrid. Their salads are great (I mean BIG too!) and my favourite dessert is the chocolate brownie with vanilla ice-cream. (Mmmm!). Open till 3 o'clock in the morning, 7 days a week. Books, presents, souvenirs, papers... Leave a Comment |
Fast food with a Spanish touch. Try some ham and chicken croquetas for starters, then have some pasta or maybe something from their grill. Everytime we are running out of time we just drop at this restos. Take away foods are fine too and other items are also available in the VIPS shops. They have many branches around the city. Leave a Comment Theme: Other |
This American style cafeteria-diner offers delicious dining options, including some excellent breakfast choices. This is a restaurants chain. They sell bargain books in the front part of the restaurant. If you feel like to eat something quick and easy to oder this is a good alternative. They have nice salads, enchiladas and pasta. The price is average. http://www.grupovips.com/flash.php http://www.grupovips.com/360/VipsPalacioHielo/panorama01.html

Vips restaurants are all over Madrid. They serve very good food and their portions are very reasonable. They offer a daily meny according to the day of the week. My mum and my brother had the menu of the day which was good and very filling, while i had salmon filled club sandwiches with chips which was delicious. Leave a Comment |
VIPs restaurants: junk food in Spain. If you're into hamburgers and fries, then this is your place to eat. It's not as fast as a MacDonald's (come on, we're in Spain!), but it's a little more luxurious. But then again, you're in Spain, where the food is absolutely amazing, so why eat junk food?
The cheeseburger is quite good... Leave a Comment Theme: Fast FoodPrice: US$11-20 » Currency ConverterComparison: less expensive than average |
Fast-food in Spain! We went because that's another restaurant that you find around every street and I'll admit it was nice to get a little American food into our slighty destabilized bodies! We only went once though, because after all, we were there to taste typical Spanish food...! Theme: AmericanPrice: US$11-20 » Currency ConverterComparison: less expensive than average |
Spain offers a gorgeous culinary experience for tourists and locals alike, but once in a while, we all feel the need to eat something generic and risk-free... enter Vips restaurants. The varied menu at these casual eateries includes everything from spring rolls to cheeseburgers, salads, pastas, and sandwiches, so you'll surely find something appealing enough. Everything is prepared simply, so you're better off ordering on the safe side (i.e. a sandwich or salad) instead of choosing a fish or meat dish, which aren't that great. One of the most peculiar things about Vips is that if you walk in during the early evening, you'll notice that more than half of the clientele is having tortitas (pancakes), which are actually pretty good and apparently not only for breakfast. All in all, Vips is safe comfort food in this land of strong flavors.
Pepito de filete. This steak sandwich is big and satisfying, made with juicy meat and country bread, served with fries on the side. Perfect if you happen to be really hungry during the mid-afternoon lull, when lots of restaurants are closed in town. It is kind if overpriced. ------------------------------- En Mexico tambien tenemos Vips, pero son muy diferentes a los de Espan~a... En Espan~a los Vips son muy buenos, puedes comer muy sabroso y a buen precio... Pero no compres en la tienda, los precios son altos...

If you are a bit stuck, low-ish on cash and don't fancy a big deal food, go to VIPS. The quality is fine, prices reasonable and they're easy to find.
