Asmara comes highly recommended by the people who frequent Amsterdam's adult scene. It is considered one of the top two privehuizen (private houses -- as opposed to clubs) in the city. The fee is a little high but the quality justifies the cost.

Holland is famous for its nightlife. No, better rephrase that: Amsterdam is famous for its nightlife. The provincial towns on a wet Tuesday in January certainly don't rival Bangkok. Come to think of it, Amsterdam on a wet Tuesday in January doesn't really have a lot going for it either. The redlight district makes people titter and giggle when it's mentioned, but it's generally overrated as a tourist attraction. It's all a bit sad, really. One cannot miss Cassa Rosso if u r in Amsterdam.
It is the best adult theatre in town and most famous obviously.
It costs about $30 if you wanna enjoy without drinks or $ 45 if you want four free(included in price) drinks and also discounted entry into anothr theatre of the same guys- De Bananenbar which is close by.
Its beter to go in a grp as one can enjoy bettr.
It has about 1 hr of non stop live sex on the stage and the theatre is very small so u can check out ins and outs.
The seats are a lil stuffy and can be changed for a better leg(the real one) space.
One section of the show is about audience participation where the dancer/actress/actor will ask for volunteers to come on stage.
I guess it differs day by day but when I was there she called for five volunteers and most were reluctant even though I went and a couple.
She danced with us first and slowly dropped her skimpy outfit and then got a banana and stuffed it inside herself and then laid down on the stage floor and asked us(the people) to eat it from INSIDE HER. And we did.
I would strongly recommend to go ahead with such an opportunity as part from the fun point you get a free portion of a banana. Ha Ha Ha Ha.
One amazing thing is that lotta people go there with their partners- wives, girl friends ETC. so it is not a taboo as such in any way.
There is a bouncer also so don't try to get dirty unless asked to during the audience participation.

When in Amsterdam you must take a walk through the Red Light District. It's very touristy during the day and early evening, and not as dangerous as you might think when the sun goes down. You will see lots of fellow tourists ranging from 18-80 taking it all in, it's something that you just won't see anywhere else. Take in a live sex show or just wander around and 'window shop' as they say. Ladies wait behind glass in various states of undress, some even bang on the glass to get your attention, the price? 30-50 Euros. Word of warning, don't take pictures unless you can run really really fast.
Don't leave your wallet hanging out of the back of your jeans. Use some common sense and you'll be alright. This is actually a theater which is in the middle of the red light district.its expensive 45 euros to get in, however you do get four free drinks in that price.the theme of the show on offer is live sex, however despite it sounding exciting its actually rather boring.the sex is so chorographed you wonder if the performers are actually robots.There are four seperate acts.one involving a maid and a guy looking like darth Vader,another as two people in the Jungle and one woman looks like a mermaid.

The Red Light District is possibly the best known area in Amsterdam. Nealrly everyone who visits Amsterdam wants to see this area. I beleive Amsterdamer's sometimes are a little put out by this, as they consider there are many more interesting places to see. They're probably right. However it remains one of the most frequebnted areas in Amsterdam. Of course, not everybody who goes there indulges in the obvious commodity. Curiosity has a lot to do with it as well.
I find the area interesting and full of life.

With so much syphillis making its way through the Amsterdam sex scene, it is probably only a good idea if you intend to be on the *** end of these couplings (not the mouth end).

Teasers is a bit like hooters, but the women wear less clothes. I was dragged in here much against my will, as I thought it was a bit of a con. The drinks were ridiculously expensive and it was blatant exploitation.
