Everywhere were you go around this area there will be warnings, so you know, there are crocodiles and hippo’s that are very danger animals, be careful where you step. Leave a Comment

Even if the roads are dry and there is not much traffic , there is always that fatigue to worry about , drive carefull and take a break when you need to Leave a Comment

This is a malarial area. There is plenty of water and plenty of mosquitoes. Take the precausions against malaria.
Hippos also may be walking around your camp ground or even around town at night. These are the two biggest killers in Africa so be vigilant. Leave a Comment

Swimming in the estuary is very dangerous: hippos and crocs live very happily in the water and can munch you in a moment! Swimming in the sea is fine, although near the estuary mouth it is dangerous (if the mouth is open). Elephants have also been released on the Eastern Shores, and now walking unescorted in that area is not allowed. Walking alone in other areas of the park is still fine. Leave a Comment
