One of the loveliest places I have ever had morning tea is at the Petersham Nurseries Tea Room, which is located a short walk from the river in Richmond. The nursery itself is a beautiful place, with all varieties of plants for sale, laid out in ramshackle green houses. After a very early start that morning, and a day of sight-seeing, on our first night in Frankfurt we didn't want to venture too far from our hotel for dinner. The Willoughby Hotel is a great 'local' pub located, not surprisingly, in Willoughby, not far from Chatswood. It has a downstairs bar and bistro, an odd enclosed courtyard area upstairs, along with a private function area.
