    I came back to Vegas this past Labor Day 2008 and this time i stayed at Red Rock for the first 2 nights. This Hotel is located near Summerlin, which is a very nice area. I believe its northwest and about 20 minutes from the strip. To take a cab here from the strip costs about $45.00. i took it from the Venetian. I really like it here, although its off the strip, its as nice as some that are on the strip. Casino is nice and doesn't get too crowded. The pool is huge and very chill. The rooms are great too. It has a few restaurants, ive only eaten at one, Salt Lick BBQ and that was just nasty, totally do not recommend that place to anyone. Its in a really nice area, with plenty of restaurants shops etc.. Overall a great place to stay, when you want to go to Vegas, party, gamble and do whatever it is you do in Vegas, without all the craziness....
