I was very disappointed in the Paris Hotel. The casino and shopping were wonderful. I found customer service lacking in every guest area except the spa, that was a wonderful experience. Unfortunately the spa didn't make up for my disappointment in the bell-persons, housekeeping staff and others. This is one of the worst experiences I have had in Las Vegas hotels. Despite talking with the concierge several times during my short stay, I did not see any changes in the lack of service provided by this hotel. Worth a look-see, but not a stay.

No one helped me with my bags despite searching for a bellhop, and I ended up dragging my bags across the cobblestones of the casino to get from the shuttle drop off to registration. Normally this wouldn't be a big deal, but for this trip I had extra baggage for a conference and really needed help.

I found service at the poolside restaurant very poor. I sat at a table, ignored completely for over 45 minutes. I finally walked to the kitchen and asked if they were still serving. After this I did get served, but the food was only so-so.

Another annoyance was that the housekeepers came in at all hours of the day without knocking. Of course the first time this occured I was changing my clothes.

The casino was beautiful, and shops were fun. The streetside restaurant served wonderful escargot (sp?) and the service there was heavenly. But after my return to the streetside restaurant in 2006, they too have gone the way of the rest of the Paris enterprise. I no longer find this a place I'll choose to go to in my future travels to Las Vegas.

Paris Hotel is connected to my favourite hotel, Ballys. It is a sister property to Ballys, and is a little more upscale. However, also rather pricey.

Great buffet, wonderful food, more expensive than most, but better than most. Lots of choices, and unusual food to boot. Dessert to die for. Suggest you obtain a line pass from the slot club which allows you to walk to the front of the line for immediate seating. See this tip elsewhere in my Las Vegas pages.

Good slot machines, suggest you try Blazing 7's, dollar slots only. Proven to be lucky for me.

Watch your ankles as you walk on the cobblestones.

Our last trip to Vegas we stayed at the Paris Las Vegas. It was very nice hotel , centrally located which made it great for walking to either end of the strip. I really liked the indoor shopping that is like the streets of Paris complete with shops, cafes a decadent bakery with amazing French pastries ! There is a mime & a man painted all white who freezes like a live statue preforming in " the streets" And of course a french themed Casino!

Hubby wanted to go to the top of the Tower...I decided to stay on the ground floor. Very smart , and I have to say, very French! The ladies loos are so Parisian, it made me chuckle. If the pictures he took are anything to go by, the trip up the tower is worth it.

I would definitely recommend the Paris Las Vegas. Located center strip, it's in a great location. The rooms are very large, have a marble bathroom, internet access, and room safes. The Paris also has numerous restaurant choices, a spa, shopping, and a beautiful swimming pool area.

A really nice hotel, in a great location, and not too expensive!

  • Bonjour! Bienvenue to my Paris Las Vegas tip. Are you a little gene with my sprinkling of words a francaise? This is what they do at Paris, and mais oui, this got on my nerves after a while. Though it is tres amuser the way the housekeeping staff greet you with an enthusiastic "Bon-Jur!!" Thinking of staying here? better brush up on your french, as everything is labled "le" as in "les toilettes" and "les telephones" .

However, we did have a good stay at Paris Las Vegas. A great plus is that non-smoking rooms are located on their own floors, so not a whiff of smoke. Everyone was very pleasant and helpful, with the exception of one bell hop who was very blatant and aggressive in wanting tips. I ended up telling him that you attract more flies with honey, and the shocked look on his face was priceless.

Our spacious room was very clean and the housekeeping staff do an excellent job. We had a room with two queens (smallish queens, may I add) so if you're sharing with anyone else but your partner, be prepared to be up close and personal. The bed was comfy and made up with soft, cotton sheets. The only negative is the cheap, lumpy pillows, so if you're picky about those bring your own. I was a little disappointed with the room decor, as it seemed bland. In contrast, the marble bathroom was quaint and charming, though the tub I found to be slightly smaller bathtub. If you like baths, forget it if you're over 5"6". The bathroom also has a nice separate marble shower. They are also very generous with the towels.

All in all, Paris was is a good place to stay and does have mid-strip convenience, but since it offers nothing outstanding, I would like to try some other hotels before returning.

  • Its hard to imagine you are not in France as you approach the Paris Hotel. Scaled versions of all the famous landmarks of Paris make this one of the most appealing hotels on the Strip. The Eiffel Tower takes pride of place and houses one of the finest restaurants in the area high on its second plateau, giving the diners superb views of Vegas. It rises from the casino area leaving its huge metal legs piercing the ceiling. Lots of lovely shops, pastisseries and all things mouthwatering that the French are famous for, line the little lanes off the casino and street cafes are in abundance both inside and outside the hotel. The Arc du Triumph spans the drive up to the entrance and the Station du Gar is the entrance.

The cocktail waitresses in the skimpiest Stationmaster costumes I have ever seen!

If you want to treat yourself, and you like things with a more European flair, check out Paris. This place has been done up VERY well compared to all the other hotels in town to really give you the feeling of Europe/Paris. The restaurants inside the complex are very good, and if you like the Art Nouveau style (like the Paris Metro iron work) you will love the feeling you get from staying here.

If you are French or you know French, you will get a real kick out of hearing people greet you at the doors with 'Bonjour' said in a strong southern/western US accent - it's quite funny. Try answering back in French, and watch their faces! ;-)

Replica of the Tour Eiffel and various other Parisienne monuments surround you. Looks great at night, and you definitely can't miss the hotel when you want to wander back late at night.

We found best deals on the internet, but still this place is pricier than many places to stay in Vegas. Great for romantic types. Not very affordable for families (but that doesn't stop you from shopping or gambling there or just taking in the sights!)

  • One of the newest hotels on Las Vegas Blvd. (aka the Strip) is the Paris Hotel, which is owned by Caesar's Worldwide. As one of the newest megaresorts on the Strip, Paris Las Vegas is an unbelievable site, and really is designed as a one stop shop, a virtual city within the city of Las Vegas.

Shopping, gambling, eating, its own mall, and entertainment make this a self sufficient economy on its own.

Mandara Spa is excellent for relaxation or massage, outside is a wonderful pool, and French themed casino decoration puts you in the mood for the City of Light.

The Paris Las Vegas also has a station on the Las Vegas Monorail, which quickly gets you between hotels.

    Enjoy!

A great big Eiffel Tower in front of the hotel!
