Some rooms are a bit small;
When you ask for a 3 bed room on the Ramblassite you are very lucky. A nice view, sun on the balcony, enough space an kept clean well. Staff speaks more ore less English an can give tourist information. It was quiet easy to make a revervation for this room with a telehone call and an e mail in half Englisch half Spanish.
On the upper site of the Ramblas.
We have been there about 5 times. Prices increase, but not much more than the inflation obliges.

it was the best place we could find for that price.
41 euros for a double, so cool. we had a washing basin in the room and a shared bathroom
over all it was clean, we also had satellite tv and free internet downstairs Leave a Comment

the location and excellent price are the Toledano's best assets! Right at the top of the Ramblas!
not a *good* unique quality during the summer months, but the Toledano is sans air conditioning. on the other hand, get a room in back and you get a fine view of the Gothic Cathedral for no extra charge! Leave a Comment

About 2,700 pst ($25.00US approximately) per night for room with shower and television.

Be aware of this place if booking over the phone or from their webpage. No warning of cancellation fees is mentioned anywhere! I booked a room one week in advance over the phone. The owner of this hotel took my credit card details and said I would be charged on arrival. However, when I called the day after to let them know of a change of plans, they took money illegally out of my credit card. The owner stated that all cancellations made before 15 days were subject to a charge 40EUR or more. I argued that I had only made the reservation the day before and had received no warning at all of these charges. His reply was " I don't care" and shortly put the phone down on me. Thankfully, my credit card company arranged to have the illegal withdrawal fully refunded to my account.
