 | Barcelona Hotel Lloret Reviews | Tips 1 - 10 of 14 | | Simple, clean and a helluva location! Staff was always friendly and helpful. Most of them spoke English too. There is a bar next door, which is very convenient! Lots of places to eat all around. Hotel located on the top of the Ramblas and there is a metro stop across the street (Cataluyna). 69Euro a night including VAT. Leave a Comment

I've stayed in this hotel on many occasions and always enjoy my stay here. The staff are very friendly, and very helpful, providing information and maps & phoning taxis if required. The staff speak very good English and are multi lingual too. The rooms are clean and comfortable, with bathroom/shower, heating, air con, tv & phone.
The location of this hotel is fantastic. It's at the top of Las Ramblas and is close to the Placa Catalunya metro station. The rooms facing the Ramblas have balconies which you can sit out on and chill out & look down and over all the people and seemingly never-ending activity going on along the Ramblas. Bear in mind that the Ramblas is VERY lively well into the early hours no matter what day of the week, so if you want a bit of quiet when you go to sleep, you'd be better asking for a room at the rear of the hotel. Another bonus is the tremendous tapas bar next door to the hotel, which is open from early morning to around 1:30 am the following morning. Theme: Hotel

The hotel is located on top of the Ramblas and I can't really imagine a better place for staying in BCN. It's both close to the old city and to Eixample. The hotel is nothing fancy but all the rooms have bathrooms and it's all clean, the stuff is nice too. Anyway, in BCN I wouldn't worry too much about the hotel as you will probably spend very little time in there. View from the hotel was just great... Ramblas on one side and top of Ramblas plus Plaza Cataluņa on the other one.

It was great by the end of it! Ten out of ten for location and it was really clean. The only thing that bothered us was the dozen steps one has to lug one's suitcases to get to the lift. We're quite incapable to carrying bags that have stuff for a two-week vacation! They have an apartment on offer down the road which has an elevator right from ground level so that's where we'll stay next time- not much more expensive either! Excellent, friendly staff and I have to say we were sad to leave for our cruise after three days! Barcelona is a fantastic city and this hotel is probably the best place to explore it from if you're on a budget! This hotel is quite average however its location can not be more convenient. Once you arrive to Barcelona and hop on the terminal bus, you go to the last stop Plaza De Catalunya and from there there is only a 5 minute walk to the hotel. It is extremely simple and easy to find.
As mentioned location is quality number 1, cleanliness is number 2, and security is number 3. Staff will not let you in unless they are positive you are staying in the hotel. They also speak English and are helpful with informations about the city. Terrace on the first floor is great as you can enjoy your coffee or a drink watching hordes of people marching up and down La Rambla - busiest street in Barcelona. As downfalls (objectively speaking as none of these things bothered us) - hotel is very simple, rooms are small, and La Rambla makes lots of noise. Last problem can be solved by renting a room not facing La Rambla but then you are missing all the action. Like you, I've read the reviews on Lloret Hotel in virtualtourist before going to Barcelona. It was exactly like I would expected. This is the best location possible if you are going to visit and want to be near everything! You will realize that in an instant! Located on the La Rambla street (most known and interesting street in Barcelona) and 50 metres away to Plaza Catalunya (there you will find Metropolitan, all kind of public transports, Tourism Bus, etc). Me and my wife rented a doble with view to La Rambla street (you will have to pay a 8 euros extra per night). Itīs a little noisy at night but itīs more fun to chek La Rambla at all time! The rooms are small, but clean. The staff is amazing, very nice and always concerned with you. If you are going to visit for a few days (you just go to your room to...sleep!) and mostly if you want excelent location beeing on a budget it's the perfect hotel!
Location!!!!! Location!!!! Perfect!! And you get to face La rambla!!!

hotel lloret rules and has been the official embassy for us in barcelona since day one. it's right in the centre and it's not that pricey - there's a choice of lotsa room types. the staff are so laid back they're horizontal!
