    The offers a good service, room are clean, the employees helpful and honest.

    Clean restaurant, nice local foods and a huge variety of Italian dishes. Prices not higher than in other restaurants in town. Also the hotel has probably the best terrasse in town, with a magnificient view over the Old Town of Massawa and from where you can relax drinking a cool beer. Waitresses are really nice and polite.

  • Unfortunately, Massawa offers some of the worst accomodation in Eritrea - and for the highest prices!
    "Hotels" on Massawa Island itself are very, very run-down, noisy and dirty brothels.
    Better ones are found on Talaud Island, but they are overpriced even for fan rooms.
    And given how unbearable the heat in Massawa is, you will have to take an air-con room to have any chance of getting a sleep!
