Make sure you have your soap and shampoo.
If you are staying there just to sleep (come in late, leave early) it's great.
The food offered for breakfast is very good (not the orange juice...is Kool-Aid or Tang juice).
Close to a corner store, a grocery shop, McDonald's is at 15 minute walk, internet (5 Egyptian pound per hour: approx: $1 us or canadian.), banks, etc...
There is some security (tourism police at the door).
Ask for a room with a view on the Nile....a stay on the 8th floor is great. Around $17US per night.
From this hotel, when you come out of the hotel turn right, right again at the first street, left at the first street (HSBC bank on the corner). On your right on a second floor is Dot Com, the internet café at 5 pound per hour ($1us).
